Description:
Blues Alley Jazz is tucked away on a quiet, unassuming mews in an 18th century red brick carriage house in the historic Georgetown neighborhood within our Nation’s Capital. Blues Alley Jazz turned 54 years young this year and is America’s oldest, continuously operating jazz supper club. The club is reminiscent of the early 20th century jazz clubs that grew out of the Storyvlle District in New Orleans. Past performers include Tony Bennett, Sarah Vaughn, Dizzy Gillespie, Nancy Wilson, Chic Corea and countless others too numerous to name.
